MODERN PROBLEMS OF MANAGING TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SYSTEMS IN THE AGRI-FOOD SECTOR

Taking into account the peculiarities of agricultural products (limited storage periods, high requirements for transportation conditions, etc.), minimizing losses and optimizing costs depend on the efficiency of managing transport and logistics systems. Given this, the issues of implementing modern information technologies, digitalization of processes, infrastructure development and environmental sustainability of logistics also remain relevant. It has been determined that in the current conditions of development of the agri-food sector, the issue of effective management of transport and logistics systems is gaining strategic importance. Logistics not only determines the speed and quality of product delivery, but is also the main tool that ensures the formation of the competitiveness of enterprises in the domestic and world markets, the continuity of production and sales processes and cost optimization. It has been established that transport and logistics systems of the agricultural sector face a complex of problems that significantly complicate the development of the agricultural sector and reduce the efficiency of agricultural producers. It is proven that solving the problems of managing transport and logistics systems of the agri-food sector creates the basis for building a modern, integrated and sustainable logistics system that would ensure the proper quality of products, reduce logistics costs, minimize risks and contribute to the expansion of Ukraine's export potential. It is substantiated that the modernization of transport infrastructure, the development of multimodal transportation, the introduction of digital technologies and the use of environmentally friendly solutions should become priority areas of state policy and corporate governance. The implementation of these measures will ensure the sustainable development of the agri-food sector, increase its efficiency and strengthen Ukraine's competitiveness in world markets.
