APPROACHING A COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE POTENTIAL FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH OF ANIMAL PRODUCTION IN THE MINDS OF MILITARY THREATS AND WAR PROSPECTS

The article examines approaches to quantitatively assessing the potential for economic growth of livestock enterprises in the context of military threats and post-war reconstruction. It is determined that military actions lead to large-scale losses in the agricultural sector, including the destruction of production facilities, damage to infrastructure, reduction in livestock, disruption of logistics chains, and a shortage of labor resources. Such factors reduce the economic sustainability of enterprises, necessitating the development of new methods for assessing their production and recovery potential. The paper analyzes traditional methods for quantitative assessment of potential, in particular resource, factor, and integral approaches, and identifies their limitations in conditions of crisis phenomena. Conceptual foundations are proposed for developing a model that considers the impact of military risks and destructive factors. Special attention is paid to the role of investments, state support, and international assistance in establishing the financial foundation for enterprise recovery. Key indicators that should be used to assess the potential for economic growth quantitatively have been identified: labor productivity, return on assets, profitability level, investment volume, infrastructure recovery index, and innovation activity. The results obtained indicate the need to develop a quantitative analysis system adapted to crisis conditions, which will ensure effective strategic planning and the formation of recovery programs for livestock enterprises. The proposed study aims to clarify theoretical and methodological approaches to assessing economic potential and developing practical tools that can be used by state bodies, investors, and enterprises to determine priorities for recovery and ensure sustainable development in the post-war transformation of Ukraine's economy. Quantitative assessment of the potential for economic growth in livestock enterprises is a complex and dynamic category that involves considering various aspects of resource provision, production activities, the functioning of the management system, and their interrelationships to achieve stable growth and competitive advantages in the market.
