DIGITAL TOOLKIT FOR DESIGNING AND MANAGING THE QUALITY OF ENTERPRISE BUSINESS PROCESSES

Abstract

The article delves into the critical role of digital tools as a fundamental driver for the transformation and quality management of business processes in modern enterprises. In an era of escalating global competition and rapid digital change, the ability of companies to effectively manage and optimize their operational flows is paramount for long-term success. The research outlines how the traditional, often fragmented, approach to process management – relying on intuitive decisions or isolated automation – has proven insufficient to meet the demands of a dynamic market. This necessitates a shift towards an all-encompassing Business Process Quality Management paradigm that spans the entire process lifecycle, from initial design to continuous improvement. The primary objective of this study is to investigate and substantiate the capabilities of an integrated digital toolkit, with a specific focus on the ARIS platform, for the effective design and quality management of business processes within industrial enterprises. The research meticulously analyzes the evolution of the BPM concept, tracing its development from a simple financial control tool to a strategic, holistic management framework. Through a detailed comparative analysis of leading BPM platforms, including ARIS, Bizagi, and Camunda, the article substantiates the argument that true process efficiency is achieved through the synergy of various tools. The study demonstrates that the strategic application of technologies such as Process Mining, Simulation, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) within a unified platform ensures end-to-end process transparency and enables the identification and resolution of the root causes of inefficiencies, rather than merely addressing their symptoms. A practical case study involving the «Storage and Shipment of Finished Products» process serves to illustrate this integrated approach, showcasing its tangible benefits in optimizing key performance indicators and improving overall operational efficiency. The findings confirm that investing in a comprehensive BPM solution, such as ARIS, is strategically justified for large enterprises, providing them with a powerful toolkit to enhance long-term competitiveness and achieve a state of sustained operational excellence. The study thus contributes to the ongoing discourse on the strategic role of integrated digital solutions in modern management, highlighting their potential to revolutionize business operations and drive corporate growth.
