THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MODEL FOR THE EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIONS IN LIVESTOCK AND ITS PROCESSING

The article examines aspects of implementing innovations in the livestock sector and its processing to enhance production efficiency and ensure food security. The study aims to develop a model for the effective implementation of innovations in livestock and processing, ensuring the integration of technological, organizational-economic, and information-logistics components to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and the sustainable development of the agri-food sector. The article analyzes approaches to understanding the concept of agricultural innovations. It determines that in agro-industrial production, innovations should be considered as the implementation of the results of scientific research and development into economic practice, aimed at improving the efficiency of the agricultural output. The study substantiates a classification of innovative solutions applied at different stages of value chains in livestock, including technological, organizational-managerial, logistical, marketing, environmental, and social innovations. The integration of digital technologies, biotechnologies, automated systems, and modern management methods enables the creation of high-tech agricultural clusters, thereby increasing the competitiveness of products in both domestic and international markets. A model for the effective implementation of innovations is proposed, which, compared to existing models, is based on the combination of technological, organizational-economic, and information-logistics components, ensuring the structural and functional integration of the innovation process. The application of a structural-functional approach enables the evaluation of the contribution of each system element to overall efficiency and the design of strategies for the sustainable development of the sector. The proposed model’s functions, including innovative production, processing, economic, logistical, and information analysis, ensure the comprehensive modernization of processes from primary production to final consumption. A phased strategy for implementing the proposed model of effective innovation development is substantiated, which, compared to existing approaches, includes analytical-preparatory, institutional-organizational, technological-implementation, economic-logistical, educational-communicational stages, as well as monitoring and adjustment stages. Overall, the study demonstrates that systematic implementation of innovations in livestock and its processing serves as a powerful strategic direction for increasing the efficiency of the agri-food sector, ensuring food security, and forming long-term competitive advantages at the national and international levels.
