TECHNOLOGIES OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION

Abstract

The current stage of industrial production is marked by accelerated digital transformation, widespread adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, and the growing importance of innovation as a strategic driver of competitiveness, adaptability, and long-term resilience. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of key technologies that support innovative industrial development and outlines effective approaches to their implementation across various sectors. The integration of digitalization, robotics, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence systems, and environmentally oriented innovations opens up new opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing production costs, improving workplace safety, and fostering the creation of sustainable, adaptive business models. Despite these prospects, several persistent barriers continue to hinder progress: the absence of standardized methods for assessing innovation effectiveness, unresolved challenges in human–machine interaction, and a lack of harmonized regulatory and institutional frameworks. The research systematizes current methodologies for integrating advanced technologies into production processes, offers a structured classification of key barriers (including human-social, economic-environmental, and regulatory-legal), and proposes a multidimensional evaluation model that combines economic performance indicators with environmental sustainability metrics. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms driving industrial transformation and provide a foundation for the development of targeted, evidence-based solutions aimed at ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable enterprise growth. Future research directions include the refinement of human–machine collaboration models, the incorporation of circular economy principles into industrial strategies, the development of predictive tools for risk management, and the alignment of national and international standards governing innovation in high-risk and high-impact industrial environments.
