METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISM FOR MONITORING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

The article explains the theoretical and methodological bases of monitoring the development of agricultural enterprises as a part of their organizational and economic management mechanism. It is proved that changes in the external environment, stronger competition, and growing uncertainty in the activity of agricultural enterprises require an effective monitoring system. The explanation of methodological support for the functioning of the organizational and economic mechanism for monitoring agricultural enterprises can ensure the timely identification of trends in enterprise development and create an information basis for making justified management decisions. The content of the organizational and economic mechanism for monitoring development is revealed, and its methodological parts are described. The article explains the need to use the principles of scientific justification, system approach, complexity, continuous monitoring, relevance of information, cause and effect relations, and focus on making management decisions when forming a monitoring system. It is determined that the use of a complex system of indicators allows a full assessment of the economic, production, financial, social, innovative, and environmental aspects of enterprise development. It is proved that the introduction of the proposed methodological approach will help improve the quality of information and analytical support for management, timely identify risks and opportunities for the development of agricultural enterprises, and increase the efficiency of their functioning in the long term. The author carefully analyzed scientific approaches to monitoring the development of agricultural enterprises, in particular: system approach; directly correction oriented approach; process approach; institutional approach; reproduction approach. Monitoring the development of agricultural enterprises will be based on system and complex approaches, which provide for the sequence of stages of the monitoring process, the use of a relevant system of indicators, and modern information and analytical tools. In addition, with the help of monitoring, development trends are identified in time, the influence of internal and external factors is assessed, the justification of management decisions is improved, and the sustainable development of agricultural enterprises is ensured.
