Abstract

The article develops a theoretical and methodological approach to the formation of business process systems in construction enterprises by integrating the concepts of economic trust, economic immunity and business modelling. Under conditions of digital transformation, martial law and large-scale postwar reconstruction, business process systems are expected not only to convert resources into construction outputs but also to sustain stakeholder trust and ensure preventive protection against internal and external threats. Economic trust is conceptualised as an interorganisational resource generated through financial transparency, contractual discipline, reputational capital, digital openness, and the quality and safety of construction products. Economic immunity is interpreted as an embedded set of business-process subsystems responsible for monitoring, identifying, assessing and neutralising threats, while preserving organisational memory of responses. Business modelling tools, including Business Model Canvas, BPMN 2.0, IDEF0, 4D/5D BIM and process mining, are systematised according to their applicability to the design and improvement of construction enterprise processes. A conceptual model is proposed that combines the operational hub of the business process system with the contours of economic trust and economic immunity. The assessment framework includes composite indices of trust and immunity, an integrated balance index calculated using the geometric mean, an interpretation scale and a “trust–immunity” matrix for selecting process development strategies. Six stages of business process system formation are identified, ranging from business model diagnostics and process architecture design to digital monitoring, adaptive management and organisational learning based on accumulated experience of responding to threats. The proposed approach strengthens process resilience, transparency and adaptability and supports risk-based decision-making, sustainable development and the long-term competitiveness of construction enterprises.
