INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL POLICE ORGANIZATION – INTERPOL

Abstract

Cooperation of foreign countries in the field of criminal justice is ensured with the help of the wellknown international organization – Interpol. The International Criminal Police Organization, Interpol (French: Organization Internationale de Police Criminelle, OIPC, English: International Criminal Police Organization, ICPO) is an international organization engaged in the search for a specific object, a person, and helps the police search. Today, Interpol includes 194 countries of the world, including Ukraine, which finance the organization in the amount of $59 million through annual contributions. In terms of size, it is the second international intergovernmental organization after the UN. Interpol manifests its participation in such cooperation in special forms and implements it by means available only to it, which are not characteristic of other international organizations. This international organization directly participates in the prevention and prevention of international transnational crime. The international organization Interpol is a connecting link of states in international cooperation in the fight against international criminality. Interpol is one of the most recognized international organizations in the world, which carries out international and domestic crime prevention. Countries that are members of Interpol participate in the fight against organized crime. Interpol, in turn, contributes to the activities of the criminal police services of the participating states through the coordination and cooperation of special operations carried out by them and in the performance of the functions of the international center for the creation of a general police strategy and methods of combating international transnational crime. To ensure the security of the country, the National Central Bureau created defends the interests of its country in order to fight crime and ensures the effectiveness of the relevant services of the member countries of the Organization on international cooperation, and also maintains bilateral contacts. Interpol is an important organization in international criminal law relations, as well as a form of cooperation between states in the fight against criminal crimes of an international nature.
